That’s right! The largest Comic-Book convention is hitting the Bay Area, and Tix are available NOW! The details:

This will be my first Wonder-Con since returning to the Bay Area. So you can tell that I’m excited! Just this past summer, I had a major geek-out ! I expect the same at Wonder-Con.

I’ve been fortunate to have experienced my very first SDCC just this past summer, and I’d just like to say that – its one of the most HauteAzifug experiences around! Everyone should experience SDCC!

The Alternative Press Expo, or so affectionately known in the biz as APE, went down this weekend and, well… it has left a lasting impression. The 2009 Event was the first time me and the Dinky Ninja Bear Clan has ever attended APE and I must tell you that being in the presence of such an energetic, creative, and a dynamic group of individuals dedicated to the art of Art – truly is inspirational.

So inspirational, in fact, that I’m thinking about starting a Dinky Ninja Bear Comic Strip/Comic Book/Graphic Novel of sorts. I’ll start by drawing up some sketches, then posting them up here. We’ll see where this goes. I’ll also crank out the backstories I have in my head…OH! The stories! So please stay tuned…

Alternative Press Expo (APE 2009) is one of the country’s largest gatherings of the best in Indie comics, offering a venue for exhibitors ranging from self-publishers of minicomics to large publishers. It offers a huge collection of some of the best indie and alternative comics material : graphic novels and books, zines, art books, prints, original art, and comics of every shape and size. This will be Dinky Ninja Bears first time attending APE and you can bet that me and Edo-sama are excited! Ever since SDCC, I’ve been hooked on Comic-Con events!
